HOLISTIC PHYSIOTHERAPY · COPENHAGEN

Your body in balance

Holistic physiotherapy looks beyond the area that hurts. It combines hands-on treatment, movement therapy, and body awareness to find and address the underlying cause of pain, not just manage the symptoms.

What is holistic Physiotherapy?

Where conventional physiotherapy focuses on the specific muscle or joint that hurts, holistic physiotherapy considers how the whole body is connected. Tension in one area, the organs, jaw, or pelvis, often creates pain somewhere else entirely. Finding those links is central to the work.

Many people come having already tried other treatments that provided only short-term relief. Holistic physiotherapy starts by understanding your history, your patterns, and your body as a whole, so the real cause of your discomfort can be identified and treated directly.

Pain that finally stops coming back

By treating the root cause rather than the symptom, results last. You're not managing the same flare-up on a loop, you're resolving the pattern that creates it.

Better movement and physical freedom

Treatment restores natural movement patterns that pain and tension have disrupted. Many people notice improved ease and range of motion not just in the treated area, but throughout the body.

Support through significant life stages

Pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery place unique demands on the body. Holistic physiotherapy provides specialist care during these stages, addressing pelvic floor health, diastasis recti, pelvic pain, and safe return to movement.

Tools to maintain your own well-being

Sessions often end with practical guidance, exercises, postural awareness, and ergonomic advice, so you can continue making progress between appointments and reduce reliance on ongoing treatment.
